“All you need is Love!”

I have been thinking about being naive lately. Is it actually possible to be naive?! I believe in trust, which is actually pretty much the same as being naive, its just that people associate it with something negative. I think its not, it simply means that your beliefs that world is a good place are stronger than anything else. It means something inside you is so much bigger than all the fears together! It means letting go, expecting only the best and with expecting I do not mean expectations, I mean that you just trust the whole Universe and let things flow..

Few years ago, in my sweet little town of Estonia there was a construction inside of one well-known building my mother used to work. Everybody had the chance to write something on the walls before they renovated it. Little me wrote there on the wall:

“ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE!”

After what I heared a laugh behind me and an older man saying:”Haha, you naive little girl, it is never enough!”

I have to admit that I took it really strongly. I wasnt so young but I was more fragile I am today. In some ways I believed him (Well, I was in the age of discovering myself). Hearing something like this from quite a successful man, was something that influenced my ways of seeing and, in general, my life quite a lot! I was a bit scared that maybe he is true, maybe I am too naive and maybe everybody else thinks the same..

Today I know that he was wrong! Yes, there are some basic needs we need to fulfill but in the end, nothing is actually more important than love!

“No one is going to stand up at your funeral and say, “She had a really expensive couch and great shoes.”

I have met amazing men during these last years – strong and confident about who they are and what they have, at the same time sharing it all from pure heart without expecting things back. They have taught me a lot about unconditional love. I have met amazingly beautiful and strong women who know how wonderful they are but doesnt use it against, rather for helping life around them to improve! I have learned so much about what really matters and what matters less!

I wanted to share my story with this photo because my dear friends Armin and Katriin, who have an amazing union between her beautiful and divine being and his strong, at the same time so fragile, kind and loving heart. I admire and love them a lot! I am grateful so for their approval of sharing this photo because they have shared so much more with me –  time, life, bodies and soul! I had amazing photoshoot, amazing materials but I will publish only this photo! Thank you, my dear friends, love and light!

To know someone..

The most beautiful thing in life is to see someone growing next to you, growing up with you! Seeing them having the first relationship, finishing the university, having the first heartbreak or getting married, being pregnant, having a child ..

Time is something what teaches us a lot about people around. It teaches the little facts, which, in the end are the ones what actually matter. Did you know that your friend has super sensitive area on his body, which you, in now way!! can touch because otherwise he will laugh his eyes off.. or did you know that this little child of your friend doesnt actually go to school, he is learning everything by himself, or did you know that I find it extremely cute when somebody offers to finish my leftovers, which didnt fit into my stomack..

How can we actually say that we know somebody when we do not evem know with which hand they are writing, what colors are their eyes or what they think about God, Universe or UFO´s..?

Time is something what builds relationships, it´s what builds strong and long lasting relationships. It is an honour to be standing next to my friends and family and capture all the emotions and moments what we call life!

Love is free

About my exhibition in Tartu Print museum.

Fw months ago I had an exhibition in the print museum of Tartu. For that reason I made some nude photos of my 2 very close friends Neidi and Rauno. The exhibition was called “Love is free” It actually included only one photo, which you may find below.

The idea of this exhibition was to show freedom. I turned it to an angel. As I am into nude photography, I used half-nude angel representing love and freedom. As the theme was called “conflict”, we had to present our idea put on paper but in conflict of how it is shown. I showed that pure, free angel in the wooden cage (which I made with my own hands). And I presented it like that:

“Love ends where the limits start. Sometimes we want to own other people. We want to keep them close, next to us. Often we dont even notice how the most sincere wishes or acts takes away other people´s freedom. Love IS free!”

Nude photoshoot in the Studio

Few months ago I took an intensive course from my university in Estonia for photographying nudes.
The result is here. I find it extremely beautiful and artistic to take photos of a naked person. Our bodies have so much to tell, we shouldnt be ashamed of it because its who we are! Specially a body of a woman – its like a mountaineous ground, which curves are changing spontaneously. Changing the light even a tiny bit, changes the whole composition! Theres so many possibilities..
I could say that it was the beginning of something big for me, something what my heart beats for now. I was´nt considering myself as an artist before but this field is definitely something I would like, I already have and I definitely will work more in the future. So stay tuned, some more projects are already waiting to be shared!
